A quorum was established

Jim Cooper called the meeting
to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Health Center of Merritt Island.
READING OF THE MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting
of February 15, 2011 were read by Biagio Simone. Alma made the motion
to accept the minutes, Chris seconded and all were in favor.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The treasurer’s report for
February 2011 was reviewed by Alma McBride. She gave an overview
of the Wachovia checking and Fidelity Reserve and CD accounts for each
subsequent month. The reports are to be an integral part of these
minutes. Biagio made the motion to accept the reports as presented,
Chris seconded and all were in favor. Lesley made a note that the
compilation and taxes have been completed . Alma the Treasurer has
a copy of the compilation. Also it was noted that Wachovia will no
longer charge the $2.00 monthly service fee.
MANAGER’S REPORT
Lesley Studholme submitted
the manager’s report which consists of tracking non compliance issues in
Copperfield. Many owners have responded and the properties are either
being worked on, completed or in the attorney’s hands. She stressed
that due to drought conditions, it was difficult to assess lawns however,
the majority of the non compliance issues were rust stain related.
It was also discussed that it is a catch twenty-two. Water the lawns
and rust stains appear. Discussion continued over the FPL bill.
Lesley agreed to contact FPL to see if a mistake had been made in the reading.
There were 14 delinquencies. The report is attached and made
a part of these minutes.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
ARC– Chris Brogan
stated that there was 5 new completed ARA’s and 1 not completed.
ARCC- Tom
Loshe submitted an ARCC report which is an integral part of these minutes.
LANDSCAPE
Ray McDermott – there was
no landscape report
OLD BUSINESS
The yard sale was once again
a huge success. The BOD and community extend many thanks to Cheryl Nealon
for her efforts in putting this together.
NEW BUSINESS -
none
GENERAL QUESTIONS AND
ANSWERS-
The owner of 1842 Abbeyridge
questioned the general notice she received for the condition of her lawn
and berm . She indicated that a softer approach would be recommended.
Lesley with SCM stated that the general notice is the softer approach.
The general notice is not part of the Copperfield time line.
The general notice states that a condition has been noted and recommends
that it be taken care of.
She also indicated that the
property next to hers is in need of lawn care. Lesley stated that
the owner has been notified and is following the Copperfield time line
for correction. There was also a mention of parked cars on
the roadway. She was advised to contact the police or county.
The owner of 2170 Hedgerow
was upset at receiving a 3rd notice for lawn and berm. It was noted
that this was a mistake of the property number and the report has been
removed from the Inspection report.
Alma made the motion to adjourn,
