Board of Directors Monthly Meeting Minutes
September 19, 2017 - 7:00 PM

Kelly Stanton called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Kelly Stanton, Alyse Avitable, Mary Anne Sonnenberg, AJ Nick, Sherrill Stramara and Steve Balch. Charlie Abell was absent. Also in attendance: Renae Foster with TCB Property Management, and 5 homeowners indicated by the sign-in sheet.
Copperfield POA Mission Statement: Manage the operations of the Association to effectively maintain the community in order to preserve property values and community spirit.
Steve Balch made a motion to accept the July 2017 Board of Director Meeting minutes as presented. Sherrill Stramara seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously by voice vote.
OLD BUSINESS:
None at this time.
Reports:
Landscape Committee Report: West entrance light was replaced. Extreme Grounds took over Copperfield common area grounds maintenance as of 9/1/17. Little to no damage found / reported in common areas from Irma.

Alyse Avitable reported that we need to get another bid for the irrigation at the entrance area so we can budget it for 2018. Renae will follow up with FP&L regarding the damage caused when they installed the new pole. They are going to be responsible for replacing the mulch, the damage to the irrigation system, and the light that had to be replaced.
NEW BUSINESS:
Training for New Board Members- The new board members need to either attend the Board Member Certification class offered by one of the law offices, or sign the Certification Form within 90 days of being appointed.
2017 Picnic Discussions- The picnic is scheduled for November 4th this year. Kelly Stanton requested a volunteer to take RSVPs and make a list of covered dishes. Jordan & Ben volunteered to be the point of contact for the picnic. Kelly called to reserve the bounce house, and has the waiver we used last year. Kelly also reviewed the shopping list we used last year. The food was added to the budget this year, so the only expense we need to cover is the bounce house. Kelly has requested each board member to donate $20 to help cover the cost.
Street Sweeper- Renae will contact whomever is responsible to sweep the streets and request that they periodically come through Copperfield because of issues with owners and landscapers clogging the drains with lawn and yard debris.
Adjournment: Sherrill Stramara made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:36 p.m. Mary Ann Sonnenberg seconded the motion and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.
