Board of Directors Monthly Meeting Minutes
May 18, 2021 - 7:00 PM
ZOOM Meeting

Sherrill Stramara called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.

Present:   Sherrill Stramara, Kelly Stanton, AJ Nick and Katie Anderson were present.  Mary Ann Sonnenberg was absent.  Also in attendance:  1 homeowner indicated by the ZOOM App.

Copperfield POA Mission Statement:  Manage the operations of the Association to effectively maintain the community in order to preserve property values and community spirit.

Katie Anderson made a motion to approve the April 20, 2021 meeting minutes with discussed changes.  Kelly Stanton seconded the motion and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.

Landscape Report: Sherrill reported that the east side seems to be coming back ok, but there is a few patches on the west side that are struggling.  We will monitor this and review it again next month.  Ray reported that the wall is starting to rust, so Kelly will pressure wash the wall.  Kelly will run through the sprinkler system again before we call out an irrigation company.

Old Business:

  • MRTA- Renae will submit this to the attorney to start on December 1.

Kelly Stanton made a motion to submit the MRTA to Clayton & McCulloh on December 1, 2021. Katie Anderson seconded the motion and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.

New Business:

  • Basketball Court at 1818 Abbeyridge Dr- Sherrill Stramara stated that Renae mailed a letter to the owners of 1818 Abbeyridge Dr concerning their basketball hoop and court that they have on their driveway.  The Board previously voted in February to allow basketball hoops as long as they are not blocking the sidewalks.

Katie Anderson made a motion to allow the basketball court at 1818 Abbeyridge Drive.  AJ Nick seconded the motion.  Kelly Stanton opposed the motion.  The motion was passed by majority vote.

Adjournment: Katie Anderson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:41 p.m.  AJ Nick seconded the motion, and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.
