Board of Directors Monthly Meeting Minutes

ZOOM Meeting

Sherrill Stramara called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.

Present:   Sherrill Stramara, Kelly Stanton, AJ Nick and Katie Anderson were present.  Mary Ann Sonnenberg was absent.  Also in attendance:  5 homeowners indicated by the ZOOM App.

Copperfield POA Mission Statement:  Manage the operations of the Association to effectively maintain the community to preserve property values and community spirit.

Katie Anderson made a motion to approve the June 15, 2021 meeting minutes with discussed changes. AJ Nick seconded the motion, and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.

Landscape Report: We have tabled the sod replacement until the next meeting.

Old Business:

Landscaping:  Sherrill reported that we have still not decided regarding relandscaping the entrance island.  Kelly proposed a different plan for landscaping at the front entrance, using less shrubs that don’t need a lot of maintenance.  Kelly Stanton will get with Blue Bell on the revised proposal and get a quote.

New Business:

Board Resolution:  Sherrill Stramara stated that we discussed at the last meeting the need for some Board Resolutions regarding portable play equipment, as the attorney advised that they are not defined clearly enough.  This item has been tabled. 

Board Composition:  The last meeting MaryAnn attended was the November meeting in 2019.

Kelly Stanton made a motion to remove Mary Ann Sonnenberg from the Board due to lack of participation.

Additional discussion was held concerning the motion on the floor.

The motion did not receive a second.

We will reach out to Mary Ann to see why she has not been in attendance.

AdjournmentKatie Anderson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:36 p.m. Kelly Stanton seconded the motion, and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.
